Donald's Series of Photo Books

Donald's decision to create, then publish, a series of Photo Books from his ( now VERY substantial ) portfolio of photographs of Scotland has spawned the design and imminent arrival into stock of four different titles. "A Photographic Celebration of the County of Angus" ( where he and his wife Carol have now lived for six years ) is, not surprisingly, the first to be published and copies are now available to purchase on the website. Containing more than seventy beautiful, full-page photographs from his travels all around Angus, the A4 sized hardback book is a stunning compilation, features every season and perfectly reflects both the splendour and atmosphere of the entire county. The magnificence of the mountains and glens in the north....... across the broad, agricultural plain of Strathmore....... in and around some of the county's most charming villages....... onwards to its captivating coastline of beaches, cliffs and harbours - the selection of photographs is outstanding. Sample images may be viewed of Lunan Bay, a carved Pictish Stone, Restenneth Priory, Scurdie Ness Lighthouse, the village of Tannadice, Arbroath Harbour, Glen Doll, Glamis Castle, Seaton Cliffs, Glen Clova and Westhaven, Carnoustie.

The dark green, hardback book can be personalised on the front cover with a chosen name or ( for corporate purchases of 25 copies or more ) company name or logo ( see illustration of cover above ). The overblocking of the title and ( if desired ) the chosen name, will be in gold foil, producing a quite beautiful publication for a personal or corporate gift.

The second in Donald's series of Photo Books will be "A Photographic Celebration of Aberdeenshire". In similar format to that of Angus, the publication will be available in November and will contain around seventy lovely photographs from his portfolio of this enchanting north-eastern corner of Scotland. "A Photographic Celebration of Scotland's Hills and High Land" will follow - hopefully towards the end of this year.  "A Photographic Celebration of Scotland's Golf Links", planned to be ready early in 2012, will be the fourth in the series. Upwards of seventy glorious images will again reveal the uniqueness and resplendence of Scotland's most renowned seaside fairways, greens, bunkers - and surroundings - now indisputably recognised as the greatest links golf courses in the world.
