The most northerly peak of the Cuillin mountain ridge on Skye captured on a glorious spring morning, from Sligachan. These mountains offer Scotland's most exciting challenge to climbers.

It's unusual to catch Scotland's most famous ridge in anything other than its characteristic grey, but some wayward rhododendrons just above the Sligachan bridge provided a welcome splash of foreground colour as a contrast.
